Restore maximum stopping power and OSHA safety compliance to your material handling equipment with this premium Replacement Brake Wheel Cylinder (Part # 550993). Engineered specifically for Caterpillar and Mitsubishi forklifts, this heavy-duty cast iron wheel cylinder converts hydraulic brake fluid pressure into the mechanical force needed to push your brake shoes firmly against the brake drum.
A leaking or seized wheel cylinder will cause a spongy brake pedal, aggressive fluid loss, and a complete loss of braking power on warehouse ramps. Don't risk a catastrophic job site accident or get hit with massive "heavy freight" shipping fees at checkout from other suppliers. Our aftermarket Caterpillar wheel cylinders feature precision-machined bores, internal anti-corrosion treatments, and upgraded heavy-duty seals designed to withstand harsh industrial environments. We offer transparent pricing with fast, FREE shipping directly to your maintenance facility.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & VERIFIED FITMENT:
• Part Number: 550993 (Replaces CAT 0550993, MB0550993)
• Component: Hydraulic Brake Wheel Cylinder Assembly
• Bore Size: 38.10 mm (1.50 Inches)

Expert Tip: When replacing a failed wheel cylinder, it is highly recommended to replace them in pairs (left and right side) to ensure even braking pressure across the drive axle. Always inspect your brake shoes for fluid saturation—brake fluid will instantly ruin the friction material on your shoes!
